When you click on a green link (
),
it will often take a minute to download a database to your PC.
Fill in the database fields with relevant search criteria, and press the "Søk" or button (or Return on the keybord). A table will appear in the lower halve of the screen, listing the persons matching. In most cases you will get the complete set of information about a person by clicking on the link (blue number) in the leftmost column. Before printing a table, click on the table.
Each database has a link marked "English" - in most cases the text pointed gives nothing more than a translation of the source's title - for the moment.
In most cases, sites pointed to by yellow links (
)
have English
documentation, follow the "Hjem" or "Heim" links to the
main page of the site, and look for the US or UK flag.
